Multi-branch repair shops

One company, many locations, one login.

Branches page listing Airport (closed) as Disabled, Downtown and Riverside as Active, each with a member count, and an Add branch button
Every location of the company, with its status and members.

Add, rename, disable

Add a branch when you open a location, rename it when it moves, and disable it when it closes. Each row shows the status and how many members work there.

The app does not let you disable the last active branch, or one that is the only branch of a staff member.

A board for each location

The branch switcher in the sidebar changes the board, Records and the calendar to that location. Every branch has its own lifts, stages and work types, set in Settings, because every garage is laid out differently.

Each branch has its own board.

Staff see their branches

Staff see only the branches ticked for them, and at least one is required. A new staff invite names the branch the person will work in.

Owners and admins are not limited to ticked branches.

Own setup, shared clients.

Lifts, stages and work types belong to a branch. Clients belong to the company, so a client's history is there wherever they turn up. Tick the branches a staff member works in, and they see only those.

Questions, answered.

Does each branch have its own lifts?

Yes. Lifts, stages and work types are set up per branch.

Are clients shared between branches?

Yes. Clients and their record history belong to the company.

Can a staff member work in two branches?

Yes. Tick as many branches as the person works in. At least one is required, and staff see only the ticked ones.

What happens when I disable a branch?

It is marked Disabled and its history stays. You can enable it again. The app blocks disabling the last active branch, or one that is the only branch of someone on staff.
